How to report abuse

Reported content that violates the rules is removed within 24 hours and the users responsible are ejected.

How to block a user

A blocked user will no longer see your content and you will no longer see theirs.

How to download your data

How to delete your account

Frequently asked questions

Why does the app ask for my location?

Ripple shows you the news near you and verifies that whoever confirms or disputes a news item is really in the area. We never keep a history of your movements: the details are in the privacy policy.

How does news verification work?

Users near the location of a news item can confirm or dispute it. The "verified" status derives from the community's votes and from the reputation of those who vote: it is a community mechanism, not a guarantee of truth.

Why do I have to be at least 16?

Ripple processes location data and content posted by the community: for this reason it is reserved for people who are at least 16 years old, as declared on the app's first launch.
